Fairlands Park, a residential estate in the north-west of Galway city, has become the first residential estate to adopt our new postal system.
Each of the estates individual streets have been assigned a unique six digit alphanumeric code: The codes are as follows:
SYLVAN AVENUE NW1 186G
SYLVAN CLOSE NW1 187G
SYLVAN DRIVE NW1 188G
SYLVAN GROVE NW1 189G
SYLVAN HEIGHTS NW1 190G
SYLVAN ROAD NW1 191G
The residents also have the option of using the code NW1 146G, which is the postal code that entirely covers the Fairlands Park estate. The code for Newcastle (NW1 173G) will also suffice.
